 Cadet Program

The Rockton Fire Protection District and Hononegah High School offer a Cadet Program to area students.  This program provides young men and women the opportunity to experience life in the fire and pre-hospital emergency medical services. Many of our Cadets move on to pursue rewarding, professional careers in these dynamic and challenging fields. Through a combination of class-room and hands-on training this exciting program teaches participants about life as a first responder while also promoting qualities of leadership, responsibility and accountability. The Cadet Program is coordinated and taught by instructors from Rockton Fire.
